Hi folks. We're having a scriptor meeting tonight.

If you want to know about the LE and scripting, this is the place to be.

Connection info can be found here:

It looks like we've been having issues with the server lately; the past couple weeks folks had trouble logging in. So, it would be a good idea to login before the meeting, anytime today, to make sure you can actually get in. If not please PM norm so he can look into it.

Since this is America's Independence Day Week, here's a thought if anyone wants to work on a scripting project:

Exploding fireworks

Basically, this would involve simple spheres or cubes, flashing in multiple colors (Norm has that color thing Nailed Down Pat I think :D ). I recall quite some time ago in 7.51, in the scriptorium, we were playing around with flashing colors on a sphere's vertices. I'm not sure where the script is; I will try to find it and post it here. But an addition would to use a loop which would NOT use a timer, but still expand the sphere and change the colors until the sphere reaches a certain radius, then delete the sphere.

No guarantee that we could actually get that to work during the meeting, but hey, it's something to discuss and experiment with. :D

Hope to see you there!
