This script will freeze the transform of a single mesh object. The result is that the object's geometry is unchanged, but the rotation, translation and scale are all reset to default values and the axis is moved to (0,0,0). It works like the model tools normalize location, rotation and scale except that the normalize scale changes the size of the mesh and freezeTransform doesn't.

Been browsing through the forum for script examples and I came across this one. Very useful one Clintonman!


I always kinda wondered why the normalize scale button when used against a revealed axis didn't do what your script is doing here now.


Anyway, I know this post is an old one but thanks!
