Hey guys,
I figured I'd just put this in a new thread so it's easy to find. I'd been wanting to remake the Rock N Roller, Zigzagger, and Pulsator into script versions and finally got around to doing it. Now they are much cleaner, and more compact. There are tabs for adjustments of individual axes. :)
The Rock N Roller works pretty much as it did. I made some enhancements to the Zigzagger and Pulsator though. There is more control over the start positions and starting directions. The Pulsator will scale into negative now so if it looks strange, you might need to reduce the scale amount, or increase the starting scale size. The Zigzagger and Pulsator are virtually the same now. Only the names and labels are different.
I think they're working smooth but let me know if you find any quirks. :) |

Dele: Could this be due to different tS7 versions? |

Yes.
There was a change in saving of the panels (saving some space) - and older ts cannot read them. |

Oh, 'doh. I thought the ability to remove attached items was taken away a while back. I didn't catch that "go advanced" button. Thanks Alien. :) |

No probs. :) It's probably just that you were so used to the old forum software. Coming from that to vBulletin must be like going straight from Windows 3.11 to XP. :D |

Right click in one of your "scenes" libraries in the stack on the right side and select "import scene". Then you just left click the scene in the library to load it. After it's loaded just select each of the objects in the LE, right click in one of your "object" libraries, and select "insert object". Then they can be easily dragged and dropped into the LE when needed. :)

Hey Roman, thanks for taking a look. :)
Currently all of the scripts I've made run off of an external timer. The first image on the previous page shows how to hook all of them up. After the ZigZagger is hooked up with a timer and an object, the object should ZigZag diagonally with the default settings upon starting the timer.
I am working on figuring out how to make a jScript timer. Once I get that figured out I plan on incorporating timers into most of my scripts so that they can run independently with their own internal timers, or be linked with a master timer to synchronize a bunch of animations together. :) |

I never had any luck with independent timers when it came to moving the camera and having other objects running off of separate timers. Objects would start to get sporadic in motion. That was a little while ago so this may not be true now. Outstanding job as usual Délé . |

Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know that I finally got my website back up so all of my scripts can be downloaded there. Some of the scripts have been updated since they were last posted here. I also have some basic documentation to show how to use them and hook them up as well as simple flash examples that show what each can do. :)
www.deledesigns.com/scripts.htm (http://www.deledesigns.com/scripts.htm)
I will also upload all of these to xmanflash's www.truespacelibrary.com (http://www.truespacelibrary.com) when it's ready. :) |
