I built a simple clockwork object by using one of the Clock examples (from 'Scenes/Active') as the starting point.

I noticed a lot of examples use some hard coded paths. I don't know the benefits of doing. But it seems like embedding paths is something to avoid for reuse.

Anyway, I set out to do my own stripped down clockwork program that I could attach arbitrary objects to (see attachment). I need some help with the rotation since the hands don't rotate around where I thought they should although they originally had their object axes aligned. So, what did I do wrong?

I'm lacking a fundamental understanding of the various Matrix objects passed around.

SR

I forgot to point out that you have to navigate into that last object to activate it.

I realized to be simpler I could have just exported the activate control, so here is another version that does that. tS7 is sooooo cool!

Hey SiRender,

You can change the location of the axis in the model view (image below). I moved the axis and also changed the timer to 15ms. It seemed to run a little smoother with the lower delay. Hope that helps. :)

Got it. Thanks for the picture too!
