I updated my SMC entry and added proper speakers, speaker covers, ariel, and other various bits.


Here's a final Vray render. It's not the best in terms of composition but I'm fed up of this thing now ;)

Thanks Mr Bones.


I put a lot of time into the textures on top so wanted them to be viewable, but also wanted the speakers to be seen (as this was the gimmick of these machines in the first place!) The camera angle was a compromise to this end... but what did you have in mind?


I was going to model a whole scene with tapes and other old skool ;) stuff but I don't have time to work any further on this...

As for the camera angle, might I suggest moving it up slightly, and to the right a bit more, and then turning the camera so it's looking down the player, but the player itelsf isn't centred, so it's more in the bottom right hand corner if that makes sense...I'm no good at this explaining lark

But yes, that's a very nice render blakeo, very well done
