OK it's not Diablo or Sacred :D (looks a bit like Titan Quest *g*)
but I'm pleased with the results (in such a short time of developing).
The scene will be part of the DX Shader package.
Good to see the use of multimaterial (ground) shader, grass and reflection at the statues.
The original render (directly from truespace - orig. scale 1680x1050px)
15389
A color enhanced version (would be surely possible via postprocessing in an engine but this was done in photoshop)

Looks good! Any plans for this to turn into an actual game, since it has such graphical similarities to some? ;)
Thanks!

Oh! It's a real time render!...
Here I thought it was Tom G exiting the Caligari Castle announcing
"The Patch is Released the Patch is Released..."
Masterful job Parva but I never really thought of us as Ghouls...:D |

Amazing work as always Parva. I keep avoiding the wokspace until I see your stuff and it tempts me to migrate over there...:D
Any sign of the pack being released yet..or is it somehow linked to the patch... |

thanks for the nice comments.

no unfortunatly not. I have no contact to game studios or developers of these.
I rejected some years back a working position at "virgin lands" a cg art studio
which made graphics for "Anno 1701" and now "Sacred 2" but I refused.
Maybe a failure there I really like doing those game stuff :)
This was just for fun to show some Shader effects in action.
It would be good to get thse guys fighting each other
The ... Ghules?! are rigged (Bones etc.) so that would surely be possible.
I'm not an animator so these creatures with a strange walk and standing pose was the best and fastest way to do for me :D
Any sign of the pack being released yet..or is it somehow linked to the patch...
Can't give an exact release date yet, still on recording the video. So less time there I'm freelancer and have to search for jobs...
No it's not linked to the patch :D |

All your work is outstanding, Parva. I would love to see (and would be willing to pay for) a Course or In-depth Tut on your methods with the real-time stuff in Workspace :)

Nice work as usual Marcel! Your work with the realt6ime renderer shaders is a real inspiration for me. I'm looking forward to the time when more people are trying it out (come one Splinters, you know you want to!). |
