Just made this to also test the new VRay version, and wow! it certainly packs some power, ive been busy with my web design business so I havent had much time for 3D work. I finally got inspired and made this little picture, it isnt much but I like the moody lighting and the way I posed the character heh. Tell me what you think! (not a demand, just a request! heh thanks) |

My honest opinion?
I think this is one of the finest images I've ever seen in this forum.
Excellent.

If I were you I would make a new version of this image you posted above with only 1 difference, add a "© Copyright 2007 Matski007" to it in an image editor, then return here, go to Edit + Advanced + Manage attachments, delete/remove the image above and upload the new Copyrighted version in it's place. Unless you want to see someone selling this on eBay that is.
You might want to fade the transparency of the Copyright so it's nearly invisible.
Make sure Num Lock is on first then hold down ALT and type 0169 on your numeric keypad to get the Copyright symbol, assuming it exists within the particular font you choose.
Seriously....

It's a very cool image, nicely moody. One thing that doesn't look quite right to me is where the 'legs' of the 'bench' items (don't know what you're calling them) go into the ground - would expect some sort of distortion of the ground or ground texture, depending on the 'material'. Looks a bit like sand? Anyway, slightly difficult to explain, but I hope you understand what I mean. I like the overall effect though. |

Heh thanks, I would normally do that, just changed it now.

thanks for you comment, during adding my Copyright to the picture I also added some slight disturbance to the ground around the pipes, its subtle but I think looks better |

Nice work Matski - and a great example of 'less is more'. A simple picture with evocative lighting and a suggestive pose can convey so much as we see here. (A good lesson for me as I'm always adding more and more detail to my pics!).
Well done. |
