I'm copying Prodigy's idea of a thread for his artwork. I have one for my Cartoon work and this one will be more serious. (I have my fingers crossed behind my back)
This one is titled:
"Jacob Stainer Violin, Music From the Shadows"
I used TS 7.51 Real Time Render on this one.

Now that's a nice Workspace screenshot Steinie. Nice job.
Remember the box for, what was it... truespace 5.2? It had a violin on it. This reminds me of the box.
Froo
Edit... you polished that yourself right? Erm... you missed a spot... :-D Just kidding... Couldn't resist! |

One last Rendering of this subject before I move on.
This is my Great Grandfather who bought and
played the Stainer Violin. I now have the honor of owning and playing this
fine instrument. My tribute to them both.

Looks good, Steinie. Nice work on the violin and the picture with it. Interesting how the flowers pop out so much. :)

Wasn't it Tipper Gore who said there was too much violins on TV?
Now it's spreading to the internet. |

This is the finished serious "Icarus Jr." render. The Cartoon Corner render is still WIP.
Everything you see is fake except the tree line.
I hope you like it and as always please leave your comment in the following thread.

Archers of Alabaloo was inspired by Wizard and Kena's recent works and Splinter's Thread.
The setting takes place in a time when Pyramids of another culture were used for defense against the great sea serpant "Rovier" All passage between towers had to be done below the sea for Rovier did not like Bridges. Without them the Alabaloo people were Model citizens but always the temptation to build them remained. They could see the "Dark Tower" afar against the rays of light and built by a Roman culture. It's own Mystery wrapped within itself like Rovier was doing to Alabaloo. For if any man called out to the "Dark Tower" the only reply ever heard back was "Do Not Answer" which later translated to the Alabaloo language "NDA" In frustration the Archers would turn on each other with their Dribble.
Chapter Two:
No Bridge is needed now but who is Waving in the Light? What was the Object we wanted to retrieve and by what means? How much more can the Alabaloo people bare? Why did these people drop the "H" in front of their name?
Chapter Three Preview:
Rovier is now seeing a Professional therapists after being told it looked like a "Slug":D |

LOL another classic bit of Steinievision. An interesting picture = I like the contrasting texture styles between the pyramids and the ...other things!
The text is very funny though terribly pun-ishing - A Roman culture! Groan!:D:DArchers of Alabaloo was inspired by Wizard and Kena's recent works and Splinter's Thread.

I spent another two days focused on lighting this scene. Much improved and refined. This will be my backdrop for the "Jester project" now in production.:)
