Top Secret
http://www.parva-project.de/stuff/bilder/saucer.jpg
Not much is known. It has two cockpits, a kind of jelly sphere which surrounds the pilot.
The ship itself uses somekind of electro-magnetic energy
and shift between different waveforms (gamma-xray-visible light etc.)
which results in the ability to cloak (altering waveform to non visible),
levitate (mass reduction to less then photon weight) and some other weird possibilities.
...
btw. a nice link to captured videos from ufo's above australia ;)

You must have been talking with Bob Lazar. Super heavy element 115 somehow seems to generate an anti-gravitational field when bombarded with accelerated particles. :D
Looks great as usual parva! :) |

I'm not sure some of this is true, where is Alien when you need him!

thanks everyone!
I don't know I was infected some weeks ago from the ufo-fever *g*
@Délé - Bob? Don't know him, but it's sounds interesting with the element 115, Will google him :)
@Steinie - I don't know if it's true or if it's "geistiger Dinnschiss" (better I don't translate it) :D but I watched a video at google some days ago from a David Sereda was funny but I'm still sceptical :D |

I probably should have clarified. Bob Lazar claims to have worked on flying saucers at Area 51. Other people that worked there verified that his description of the inside of the base was accurate, so his claim of working at Area 51 has never really been in dispute. Although, some dispute his claims of working on a flying saucer. He did a bunch of television interviews back in the late 80's, early 90's I think.
One of the things I remembered him saying was that there was a block in the middle of the craft made of the super heavy element 115 (which scientists theorize that elements should start to become stable again somewhere around 115, though we haven't been able to produce it yet) that was bombarded with accelerated particles. This process was supposed to somehow produce an anti-gravitational field, though he says he never quite figured it all out. He claimed that the craft was designed for "beings" about 4 feet tall.
His claims have been controversial in the UFO community. Some think he's telling the truth. Some think that the government showed him "fake" UFO's knowing that he'd spill the beans (part of their "disinformation" campaign. Yet others think he just made it all up.
Here's the Wikipedia on him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Lazar |

yes :D
the original render resolution was 1000x562 px but most of the objects are low poly so I downsampled the picture and resharpend it. By the way all the guys/puppets have a baldness ;)
All in all done on a weekend, mostly modeled in SILO (the subdiv stuff like the saucer, cars etc.), textured and rendered in tS with Vray which save some time to do the right lighting. Used a HDRI as skylight and area light as sun.
The DOF effect was done with DOF Generator Pro.
btw. the shifting between different waveform spectrums would make sense.
Like in this video (http://www.theufomovie.com/j8t9m5.html) many UFO's are captured in Infrared. |

Looks like one of those enjoyable weekend projects alright! Only thing that's iffy is the lack of concrete seams and the overkill bump on the ufo. ;)
So how is SILO treating you. :D |

I must admit I had seems painted at the ground texture but after a test it didn't look good. These organized pattern had bothered me.
The ufo has no bump map. The noise comes from the glossiness (which is used for most of the materials).
SILO... I love it ;) |

I would, but those damned Americans nicked it. How was I supposed to know it was a no-parking zone? :o |

Yeah I know what you mean, it's really hard to find a parking zone for this.
This type of ship has an advantage. It can be painted and used as Donut advertisement :D
