You mean the fact that the beer has to be diluted in seawater before you can drink it  |

Glad you like my image. Started out as a test for hdri and GI with lots of old glass objects. I gradually got rid of them, and decided on just the one in the end.
If you've never been a fan of Irish stout, I suggest you take a trip to Ireland, and sample the real stuff. I never touched the stuff until my first visit.
Even better Extra Cold in summer. Not too good for the waistline though.
Cheers

If the stout is best in Ireland...it's probably best not to go there and try it ;)
Worst case scenario: Starting to like stout, then having to take a trip to Ireland every time I fancy one...it would bring havoc on my economy :D |

hemulin,
I think what tom means is, if a dolphin really wanted to have a drink from the pint, they couldn't, becuase they have fins and can't grab the pint, they can't use a straw because they don't have lips, etc. So it would be very frustrating to them.
Under those circumstances, I'd hate to be a dolphin too! :) |

Yeah, that's why I said it would have to be diluted, the dolphin would have to knock the pint into the water to be able to drink it, therefore diluting it.;) |

Dolphins?
What have I started? This thread is getting a bit esoteric.
Don't think, drink!
Anyway, here's what I started with, before the dolphins took the party elsewhere with the whisky and wine. |

I don't remember a dolphin advert, but maybe TomG mentioned it with the sole porpoise of confusing us? :D |

That was the first (or one of the first) in the award winning series of adverts starring Rutger Hauer (excuse spelling). There were many, and they were very arty, and were very good :)
Rutger was meant to be the pint of guinness too, with his shock of white hair above the tall figure dressed entirely in black.
The ad just showed dolphins swimming around and having fun, and then Rutger standing there looking in at them, and he declares "It's not easy being a dolphin" and takes a sip of guinness.
There is no explanation given, that is the point of the ads :) But obviously the point is that dolphins don't have guinness. I can't remember any of the other catch lines from the ads, just the dolphin one.
HTH!

I remember Rutger Hauer being in some of the ads, just don't recall the dolphins. |

Looks good, use the space wisely. A closer shot would be better, also a bit of back lighting would define the glass better. |
