Hi Dear Truespace users,

I' am a new Truespace User and wanted to share some work with you ;):D

As many of you , I sometimes sit around and look for realistic textures for my scenes.

Today, I went outside with my new Lumix Photo Lens I bought, to get some "HomeMade" textures.

I went into the park and took some Texture Photos ( only 1 tex with a transperency map)

Enjoy them ( I not made them Tileable, i just uploaded the original HQ Photos from my cam)

I hope to see them used by someone in the near future ;-):jumpy:

If anyone knows a company that has something to do with 3D and is located in cologne, germany please tell me... I'd love to work in this direction..

Here is the link to the Zip file with all 17 High Definition JPEG Textures from my Cam..

In the next few weeks all Truespace Users can Expect an HD Texture Pack made by Me, Photographed in the Streets of Cologne, Germany

( where I live ) and if neccassary the fitting transperency maps included.....

Will Contain :

Bricks ( incl. Bumpmaps )

Concrete ( incl. Bumpmaps )

Wood ( incl. Bumpmaps )

Floor ( incl. Bumpmaps )

Roof ( incl. Bumpmaps )

Stone ( incl. Bumpmaps )

Metal ( incl. Bumpmaps )

In the near future ( if someone tells me how to export complete shaders from TS.)

I want to release a Dirt Map Metal Shader here...

I made some interesting multi layered textures in the past ( from burned metal with reflecting metal scratches to broken wood splintering.

Later this month I will release my - Shattering Objects In Truespace - Tutorial

it will include: ,, Shattering Glass, Shattering Concrete, Shattering Wood

(using the Internal boolean and physics tools and Particles too)

I wish U crazy 3D artists out there just the best.......

Not sure how the shader was made - that would affect how you can share it. A real-time shader you could save to a workspace Material Library and then export, or share the library. A Model side shader could be saved to a Model side shader library. If uniquely scripted and written in the LE, then that might be more complex, I think just going to the workspace library should work as in 1 above. And so on.

Perhaps one way that should work with any way the shader has been made is to just share an object with the shader on it, people can then Inspect the object and get the shader.

Thanks for sharing the textures too!

One trick you could try is somethign I did in the past. Save stock spheres with said materials painted attached on them, and bung them all (and any texture files you use) in a .zip folder

Hi guys,

Sorry, the file was deleted, so i took some time and made the textures

seamless(tileable) for better use in truespace ;-) and uploaded them again somewhere else! I hope you can download the file now.

I will take my cam out today and make some more of those textures.
