Hello All,

I've fiddled about with the panorama camera a couple of times in the past but not recently and now I'm running into a problem: My panorama camera icon is grayed out (yes, I'm in Model Space).

I've tried this in TS7.51 and TS7.6 in both TS7x mode and TS6x mode.

A couple of more pieces of info:

1: I have definitely upgraded Quicktime since making my last Object movie.

2: I have both 7.51 and 7.6 installed on the same machine.

Of course a client wants a QT object of a small piece I'm designing, so I imported it from AutoCAD and am stuck.

Doe anyone have a clue what I might have done to "break" my panorama camera?

Thanks!

Not sure, just checked and it is working here, the icon is not greyed and I can add the camera. Anything else greyed out?

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't see anything else grayed out.

I'm thinking upgrading Quicktime may have "broken" something that will require a TS reinstall, but I'm hoping someone has a quick fix so I don't have to go through that.

Have to say, don't know - only have the latest, but free, Quicktime installed here, don't have Pro or any quicktime creation software (other than tS). Maybe someone else can say?

Anything in the archives about this, the Quicktime stuff has been tS for a number of years, could be that this used to occur back in tS6.6 etc too.

HTH!

Hmm, sounds odd, it's fine for me too (model side) and worked ok on tS5 too.

The only problem I've ever had with it was the woeful lack of documentation (I never found it mentioned anywhere in the tS5 manual!).

If it's really urgent, perhaps you could upload your scene as an archive file along with description of what you need and someone may be able to help as a short-term solution.
