hi.... i'm new to truespace.... it is kind of confusing.... ok... let me get to the point.... i want to create a earth model using a sphere and a earth bitmap... my question how can i do this? In maya, 3dsmax and silo, all i have to do is go into material edit, click diffuse and select texture.... but in truespace it is very confusing... would anyone care to write me a tutorial how to create a earth model?

thx in advance....

Jackspicer its the same thing in Truespace too but you have to make your

sphere have UV coordinated. Same as in every program....;)

What typ depends on your bitmaps ... if its a spherical bitmap you want to use the spherical UV and you can tweak it with that tool too so that it is placed exactly....Both Workspace and model side have such a tool... !:)

You load your texture into the texture editor by rightclicking onto the

diffuse panel in model side and chose the Caligari sign that brings up the

file menu in the texture editor.

HTH !
