Hi,

Well, I'm new here in the forums, but I'm not new to truespace.

I've just got around to looking at truespace 7, and I'm meeting some problem situations.

Previously I've used TS 4.3 for quite a while, and still have the disks and manual down there *points*. So I have a basic understanding of some of the concepts of truespace, and yet...

In the tutorial, it describes a step to 'bend' the side of a tea pot inwards, by using the handle (Yellow in the picture). So I click it and it immediately turns into a straight line, instead of a sharp corner. I click the sharp corner button, and it makes no difference. I click on the handle after clicking on the button, and it and the control handle thingy turns into a straight line again. I hope that is fairly clear. I'm not too good at explaining things unfortunately.

So I'm not able to do as the tutorial describes, because of this one step.

Am I just being dopey? Or is truespace just being dopey?

Please help with this one, then I'll post my other happy, happy, joy, joy that I've come across.

The handles can be a bit confusing. If you hold down your <ctl> button and click on the "tiny" dots at the ends of the yellow lines, you can adjust each side independently of each other. If you click on one of those end-dots without any other keys, then both sides will move at the same time.

Does that help a bit?

Yay! Aww, thankyou so much. I thought maybe I'd managed to install the broken version :)

I'll try it later.

Thankyou so much.
