Workspace Plug-ins are RSX format. There are currently only three though.

1. Vray

2. TurboTenticles from TurboSquid

3. Blender Fluid Importer from Frootee

Vray can be purchased from Caligari. Information on TurboTenticles and the Blender Fluid Importer can be found in the SDK, Plug-in & 3rd Party Area thread.

I consider many scripts that has been created on the WS side as plug-ins. In many cases they are just as powerful or more powerful then what was considered plug-ins on the modeler side. In this case there are hundreds of scripts that do a great number of things inside of tS.

Many Thanks for the advice

Could you tell me any good site links for the scripts you mention?

In particular, i would like to be able to have a 'fit all geometry' to screen command (Workspace) rather than just the current selected item.

I know there is a plug in for the model side that does this, but would like this for workspace also

The best place to look would be the Garage thread:
http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/forumdisplay.php?f=16

Though I don't think anyone has made a "fit all geometry" to screen script yet. I could be wrong though. There are so many creations it can be hard to keep up with them. It's definitely worth digging through the Garage though, lot's of interesting stuff there. ;)

I've heard a couple of other people mention that tool as well. If it's not already in the Garage, maybe I'll take a look when I get a chance and see if I can come up with something.

I'm trying to encourage script writers to place their products on TurboSquid, which would make an easily searchable repository for scripts both free and commercial. It would be much easier to find scripts there than here on the forum. Some developers are doing that already, so be sure to do a search on TurboSquid! A search for RsObj should turn them up, since in trueSpace an object is an object whether its a script, geometry, etc.

Since scripting doesn't require an external coding language, it's possible to do a lot of development yourself with it if you have the mind to learn it - and if not, it's possible to make requests to the community and see if anyone who enjoys scripting takes up the challenege. A great way to expand trueSpace in the directions its users desire!

I'm not aware of anything at present, rsx or rsobj, that does what you mention though.

HTH!
