Hi All,

I have used the plane texture mapping to position a simple texture on a flt face - this works fine

However, if i go back to 'fine tune' this later (once other textures are in place), then when i click on the plane mapping icon, the texture is completely reset to its original position and I have to start again

Is there any way i can fine tune adjust a texture position later once I have already roughly got it in place without it resetting to its original position?

Try this:

1. Right click on the Planer UV Projection icon to bring up a UV Projection Tool dialog in the Panel.

2, Then under 'Projection', select 'Adjust' and

3. check the box 'Adjustable Projections.'

This will cause your UV modifications to remain when you reenter the UV editing mode.

Bear in mind this depends on whether you are in the Model side or the workspace side. The advice below is workspace side. If you are UV Mapping on the Model side, there is no way to continue from where you left off (one of the several advantages and improvements found in the workspace side!)

HTH!

Hi All,

After shutting down Truespace and restarting, the mapping options you suggested below now work!

Many thanks, J
