Please don't hate my dumb questions. I won't stay that way for long. I just walked through newbie Tutorial 2 where you make the hideous looking tea pots. Only thing is, when I render them, the top, bottom and spout are all that rendered. The bodies around the tea pots were not there at all. Any thoughts on this one? I'm feeling like a failure here... I'm on page 7 and I'm already having issues. LOL. Thanks and please feel free to PM the new guy. You'll also need to tell us what steps you were following - "tutorial 2" could mean a lot of things :) Answers aren't normally PM'ed but sent publically here as replies, because that way it lets everyone learn, not just the person asking the question, but also the many who may be wondering the same thing but didn't dare ask! For something to exist as geometry but not render, it would usually mean inverted normals. This would be a rare thing to manage to do, but would be possible to get into that state if sweeping from flat faces or similar. Thanks! If I remember correctly, I had to do the tea-pot tutorial 3 times before I got it right :o ... but I learned from my mistakes :) Post by hyteck9 // Jan 2, 2009, 9:43am hyteck9 Total Posts: 4 Thanks for the help guys. I figured out what the problem was. I had to disable one of my video cards. I was running 2 GeForce 7800 GTS cards in SLI configuration and it seems true space does not like that one little bit. thanks for the replies and I will add screen shots next time I have a dumb question. cheers!
