right foot bone

location x -.959

rotation x 89.884

left foot bone

location x .748

rotation x 86.166

how do I get the bones to ?

location x .8

rotation x 90

--------------------------------------

we have 3 vertices

one with 100% green

one with ??? % yellow. any way to know just what weight is on this vertices can we type in 50% some how ?

one with 0% blue

when I try to modify a weight paint .

it is not staying.

it converts back to it original weight.

like I never painted it.

There's no way to type in a value for the weight of a vertex. Not sure on why the weight painting should revert, but check the manual as there are different painting modes which could cause that to happen. The default mode should just replace the previous weight paints though.

Of course be sure not to reattach the skeleton after weight painting, as you'll be back to the automatic assignment of weights then.

Maybe a few screen grabs could help diagnose the problem?

HTH!

lightwave 7 had a quirk that ya used side view for some of the rig or it would get messed up.

but the only deference I can tell from the tS videos is deferent meshes

was using tank girl maybe rig blinky see if that works.

got tank girls weight to stick once but then the rig detached lol

I am doing something wrong.

thought maybe they where saving the weight some how that I keep missing in the manual ,video.

got to go no time to post screen shot

but when I get back I will keep at it till I get it.

post screen shots

You half to disconnect and then reconnect the rig.
