On the Workspace side, I apply a standard (plane, cube, sphere etc) UV mapping to an object and make adjustments then right click to exit. Now how can I reedit this mapping to make a slight adjustment without starting over? If I click the mapping button, the mapping is reapplied and the original adjustments have to be redone. The manual talks about an 'adjustable projections' option in the panel which would seem to allow the reediting of the original mapping but it does not seem to work for me.

What am I doing wrong here?

Use the UV Editor option, rather than using a mapping (ie don't use Planar, Cubic, etc, as these will apply a new default mapping). You can't get back to editing using the 3D widget in the 3D view, but you can do all the same things in the UV Editor itself using the 2D widgets and view.

Thanks!

Tom

You can also right click the UV Projection tools which shows their options in the Stack. You can change Projection to Adjust.

Thank you, TrueBlue. That answer worked for me.

Regarding the UV Editor, I'm sure that would work too but I find it to be confusing and have managed to crash tS many times trying to make some sense out of it.
