I have a box and would like to apply 2 pictures--one to the front and another to the back. I can paint these textures to individual faces but one of the mappings appears to be inverted. When I apply the planar UV projection tool to the object to fix the image on one face, the other face is affected also (and ends up inverted).

How do I modify the projection on one face only?

I've had good luck with this by selecting one face at a time and applying the planar UV for each separate face -

Also, if you need to rotate a texture map, you can do so right after you select your UV type (Box, Planar, etc) You'll notice that the 'Bounding Box' with the move, scale, rotate tools appears when you select 'Planar' and you can rotate the texture while you're watching directly on the model

You can also make a selection of the face of the box you want to flip the texture on, go into the UVE and than use one of the tools I have spun out on the UVE pallet to flip the UV's horz or vert.

Thank you. That did the trick. I was trying to do this while in 'object mode'. By going to edit mode and selecting an individual face, I was able to operate only on the texture for a single face without affecting other faces.
