Hello,

Going through the manual I found the lookat command to make one object look at another.

I was trying to cancel the command and found I could do it with a camera in the LE viewer, but so far have not sussed out how to do it with one object looking at another object.

Is the LE viewer the only way to do it?

Thanks for your help again. :)

It keyframes the look at tool so if you've selected it as 'on' for frame zero, turned it off at frame ten then back on again frame 11 itrremembers what state it was in at what frame, so if you've animated it then you're going to have to go into the keyframe editor and delete the animation like that (if you want to save time, or just repeat the step below for each keyframe).

But if you just want to get rid of it on one particular keyframe or if you haven't animated it, go to the specific keyframe (0 if not animated) and click the button again and it should un-highlight and that'll be it removed for that keyframe

Once again, this is based on ts 6.6 so I'm HOPING it works

Ahh thanks Weevil,

I didn't think about the animation keyframing because I was just mucking around with meshes and cameras and hadn't realised it would trigger an animatiom keyframe!

Thanks for the quick response. Just off to read the manual on animation (i've only been learning the modelling tools so far!)

cheers
