Hello helpful people :)

Can someone please give me the preset hotkey for "View selected" in workspace mode?

Sorry if it is a stupid question but neither searching the manual nor the forum pulled up the answer.

thanks again

Select object, double click middle mouse button twice is the only one I know. That will center selection to center of view which you can then use MMB wheel to zoom in or out. Is this what you need?

With your Object selected, Double click with the Middle Mouse button in the D3D View. This will center your view on the object where you can Zoom to your object with the Mouse wheel. Or you can use the Look at Selection tool where you can assign a Shortcut to by Right clicking the icon with the Ctrl key depressed.

Thanks very much. That was quick for identical almsot answers, Great forum.

It's almost what I need.

What I discovered was that I might be working in eg Left hand view on my model, then go to perespective view and have the model off screen somewhere.

So I hoped there might be a shortcut to centre my view on the model when I can't see it (ie when I have lost it :( :

Thanks again
