Can one set the widget navigation controls? What I has is when you are detail modeling and you have the object turn upside down and turn a little You will be able to move round smoothly and get to the vertices you working on. When I try to do it, TS seem to get confuse as to where to go or what to do. When I use the would widget it gos where it likes to go. I have to click on each place on the widget to see which way it is going and try to figure out how to make it go to the vertices. It has slow me down so much it took me five days to make a 15 minute object.

Help!!!!

What I do is use the Background Widget almost always. When you have an Object, Vertice, Edge, and or Face selected, use your Middle Mouse Button to move around the selection. Otherwise perhaps your Mouse settings is to sensitive. In your Windows Control Panel you should be able to adjust your mouse settings. I have created a Custopm Object Navigation Widget that exposes tS7.6 mouse settings for each part of the widget. I will update my Point Edit Widget to include these settings too soon. You can find my Custom Object Navigation Widget here:

Thanks trueBlue

I will load it up in the morning.

I seen in one of the video the person move the widget up out of his way while he was working. Can we do that in 7.6 work space? That would be nice to get it out of the way when you are up close on a object and it is covering your work. :)

Double clicking the middle mouse button will also center the selection. That may help reorient yourself.

Hi Dele

It not me that is confused, I know where I want to go it is TS that is having the hard time.

@ True Blue
Thanks for the widget it is nice and big I can see it, but it doesn't work with the verdicts or I just have not found out how to do it.
What I need is to be able to get TS to see up and down as I see it while I am working upside down and looking at the object from the back. It needs to see what I see and move as my mouse does. It seem that TS see up and down only in the front view with the Z axis pointing up. When you move from there it seem it is stuck in that stop and still only see the front view.
