New to TS7.6 - How do you export models to bryce etc?

New to TS7.6 - How do you export models to bryce etc? // New Users

Hi Just aquired TS7.6, and am looking to use as modeller for Bryce scenes.


I've looked in the manual regarding export, but nothing on my screen looks like the manual.


any help in exporting appreciated

A bit of lateral thinking here...no need to export anything. I have Bryce, it imports truespace scenes. Job done...:D

Ok - that's grand for Bryce users but how do you export to VRML under Win XP (don't ask)? I can't find the Settings option on the Save dialog...

TS Model side

save=>scenes=>wrl

should do it

I actually only get that from the "TS6 Files" drop down menu which offers


File->Save As...


The Truespace 7.6 File menu doesn't appear to offer VRML...!

Correct, you have to go to model side in order to have any of the older save/load file formats. X, and dae (collada) are the only save formats on the WS (7.6) side... a bit of a pain, but we must conform to the great Caligari wizards ;)

Yup I have been doing this for years...On the "Aveara" project this was an excellent way of trandfering scene's between me and Ron and a few others...
