Is there a way to lock an imported mesh from being edited? I am just starting wit TS, and modeling for that matter. I am going to try and learn how to model clothing and props for poser and was wondering if there was a way to import a character and lock the mesh so it can't be edited accidentally when building the clothing around it.

You can use layers on the modeler, keep your figure on a separate layer, and lock that layer. The workspace side does not currently support layers.

HOWEVER... only the active object is subject to editing. So if your figure is just sitting there underneath as a guide, unless you select it as your active object, it's unlikely that you're going to unintentionally edit it.

Also, if you use the workspace side, you can save your figure to a library. Double-clicking a library object will load it into the scene at the same location it was saved from.
