Hi Folks,

A little help please . I wonder if there is a way I can take a poly selection and convert it into a path?

To give you a bit more background, I have a character I have generated using SS and trying to apply a sort of skirt. I anticipated doing this by using the waistline as a path and then using a rail to generate a NURB that would wrap around the character. I think a NURB would be good because I reckon it would allow me to animate the material movement easier !

Anyway, getting back to the point ... I can't seem to be able to convert my waist selection into a path for generating the NURB. Is this possible ? Is there a better alternative I should look too ?

Any advice welcome...

Thanks.

Thanks for that, it looks a useful tool. I also noticed CK do a MagneticPath tool that allows you to create a path that fits snuggly to a polygon surface.

A generally useful site, thanks again :)
