Hello all,

It's been a while. I have been exploring alternatives to trueSpace or programs I might use side-by-side with TS. Truth be told, TS has a series of tools I've yet to find on any other program, and I would like to continue using it. In any case, it's been a few months since I last used TS and I uninstalled it from my machine. I forgot, however, to remove the 7.11 patch. When I installed again and ran it, it asked for my serial number, despite that I had entered it in the install process per se. So I enter it again, but it says that the number is incorrect. I uninstall again, this time I remove the patch, and install again, without the patch. Still it keeps asking for my serial number. Does anyone have any idea what I might do?

Thanks.

PrimMac

Until someone from Caligari gives you a definitive answer I would clear traces in the Registry and start over. Don't play with registry unless you know what your doing!
Number lock on and Cap Lock off?

As ever with issues like serial numbers, do email tech support or customer services directly, or even call us on the phone.

While we check these message boards pretty often, it is nowhere near as often as we check our email our answer our phones :) And then there is always the possibility that a forum post will not be spotted, compared to an email that will always be seen.

It's not that it's wrong to post here on the forums, just that the matter won't get the attention it deserves as quickly as it deserves, and you'll be left waiting longer than you need to be.

So contact us! :) You'll find the relevant emails and phone numbers at:

Here are the emails:

Tech Support (the best bet in this case):

Customer Services:

HTH!

Thanks for your replies.

I was able to fix the problem by cleaning up the registry with a regcleaner. I'll keep in mind to contact Tech Support next time something like this happens.
