Ok, I haven't really used the Animation features in TS so I decided to try. I understand the benefits of keyframing and let TS render in betweens but I wanted a differant effect. I keyframed 27 movements or in other words I made 27 changes and keyframed each one. I click play to review and it works. I render and I get 27 renders of the first frame. Now I discover that the frame count is 1 and I cannot get it to increase in count.
I would move object, keyframe, click record, click next frame. I see a timeline created and keyframes created. User error?

You wouldn't happen to be rendering to VRay would you? Sounds like the Bridge could be off so only the first frame will be present in the Player for VRay to render.

If you open the Scene Editor do you see your keys present at the correct frames?

Yes I am using V-Ray from the Modeler side. I am at work but do not recall turning off the Bridge. Does it turn itself off for certain operations? (I couldn't imagine why it would)
For those wondering, YES I read the manual! One thing caught my eye on page 652 "Set the current frame number ....by typing the number in the Current Frame Number box and pressing Enter
I did not use the "Enter" key does that make a differance?
Also it appears that all the keyframes were between frames 0 and 1

Hard to work this out - if you are saying that you have 27 keyframes between 0 and 1 then just expand the animation in the Scene Editor to cover 27 frames and render. If not then your keyframes are lost. In either case I can't imagine what happened to make it that way.

As for pressing enter after entering the frame number, I always do otherwise how else can you be sure the frame number change has been taken?

If you don't hit enter and use keyboard shortcuts (like I do regularly), the letters are written into that field instead. It's a must ;)
