Weird blotchy artifact with Vray // New Users 1  |   Order by default Post by xmanflash // Apr 17, 2006, 7:09am xmanflash Total Posts: 335 Hi, I am rendering a test scene (playing with HDR maps) and when I render an object that is not glass, or refleective as such, I get a blotchyness where there is non in the material.. I assume this comes from the HDR map somehow - is this correct though? Could also be the shader settings for the object - you haven't said what shader you are using.
