Hello,

Just joined the truespace 7 owners. It really is something so powerful and meets my needs in 3D graphic starting from extracting the details of the surface to the BumpMapping, Great SDS and Mesh editing, so much faster rendering speed and HDRI and at last Exporting to .X and .MDL formats.

But how can i export to gamestudio MDL format which is mentioned at the end of the Manual? Where is it ?

Cheers,

Aram Azhari

Hi,
Perhaps I'm late... Well, I assume you select an object and then File->Save as-> Object. Perhaps it's because I've gamePak, perheps it's because I've 7.1, dunno, but my format options (for objects) are:

As long as I've selected the object I want to export...
Hope it helps.

I've had the best luck using the old .3ds format....all my U.V.'s come through as well as textures. In the past I used the MDL exporter and the U.V's were usually screwed up, however I'm not sure if you can export animation with the .3ds extension.
