I closed the stack and now want to open again. Is there an Icon for this? |

There is, but trust me, it's much simpler to just click 1 of the tabs at the top, eg Default.
If you use the button to open a new stack view instead of appearing where it was, it comes up as a free floating window, & then you have all the fun of trying to get it to dock back where you want it & then making everything else be where you want it... trust me, it's better to use the tabs. |

If you mean the entire stack scenario, just hit your Default Layout control. It will restore interface for you.
Hope this helps. |

Hey Norm - you may want to re-check the tS buttons on the extended smilie page, there's 1 or 2 misnamed. |

Alien,
Your right about the freefloating windows it's behaviour is not what I expected.
Norm,
Yes the Default Tab would put it back to "Default" but wouldn't I loose my changes, ie buttons locations, window placements etc.? I didn't want anything else to change except getting the Stack back. |

make sure to save your layout in the layout library..then you can get your custom layout back..I do have to click on the layout library button to get to configurations [ I removed the top row of tabs from my layout], but with tabs you should be able to click you cofiguration's tab and the stack view will go the the same place.. |

Well I found the "Create New Stack" Icon but to get the stack put back into the
same Window as the Library Icons is impossible. What's the purpose of the Library window if I cannot remount the stack into it?
I can mount the Stack to the right (as pictured), above, to the left, and as a floater but not back where it was. |

You are probably trying to dock stack view into the button.
Try first to undock that button, or try to dock stack view below the button. |
