Why is everyone posting their MMC final entries today (1-18-09), when I understood the last day for 3 weeks deadline on the contest to be next Saturday (1-24-09)....leaving the following week left in the month of January to vote ? |

Why is everyone posting their MMC final entries today (1-18-09), when I understood the last day for 3 weeks deadline on the contest to be next Saturday (1-24-09)....leaving the following week left in the month of January to vote ?
I'm posting because I have a hellacious work week ahead and I will not have time to do anything else so I needed to wrap it up. My second reason was to start a conspiracy of confusion making everyone think today was the deadline...mwahahahahahaha... :D |

Dali used eggs a lot in his work. Also butterflies and elephants. Not all of his work was disturbing. But it was all symbolic. |

I like the fact folks posted, the big problem with the WIP threads is the entries get lost in the masses of other WIP's and you may have to trawl through a few pages to find the MMC WIPs.. personally i think they should have a sub forum |

So where is the official place to post our entry?
Here, or in our individual WIP thread, or someplace else?
It seems we already have a subforum 'Monthly Modeling Contest', (I'm posting in it right now!) maybe MMC posting should be concentrated here rather than being spread all over?
My entry (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=7654) is close to done, I might add a few more details and some additional render magic. |

According to the standard rules - you can enter as many times as you like. Most people usually spend a full month on the one WIP, so it doesn't happen that often, but I would say go for it. |

The Artwork created for this Challenge submitted by all of you was really well done.
I only had one vote which made my decision difficult.
Don't go by the number of votes you receive on this one, they are all quite impressive. |

If you have more than one entry I'd advise you to edit your post in the finished thread to note which one is #1 and which is #2. Just so voters are sure which picture they are voting for. |
