October 2008 MMC challenge - Transport of Delight
Not the emotional version. Something used to get a person/people from A-B
Anything goes, this can be real, fantasy, old or new and can house as many people as you wish. Some examples would be a Boeing 747 right down to a bike.
Remember, focus on the transport, not the people.
Rules: As copied by default
1.) Submission expresses the topic. If topic is an object, then it must include at least one instance of the object which should be the focus of the image.
2.) Use your own work. No pre-made purchased or free models, please, however pre-made objects, as long as you created them are acceptable, but please state which objects they are.
3.) Start a Work In Progress thread for your submission.
4.) Submission should be one image and a link to your WIP thread.
5.) Indicate tools used to create your submission. TS should be the primary application used to create the image. Post Processing in a paint program is ok.
*It's important that everyone who's planning to enter start a WIP thread.
You can do that by starting a thread in The Work In Progress Forum
Deadline: Wednesday October 22TH at 8:00pm EST
---This gives you about three weeks to work on your WIP
Judging Ends Tuesday October 28th at 8:00 pm EST |

Organizer should pop the picture into the voting thread... make sure to note that "this picture" is your final, or you might get the wrong one posted ;) |

Apologies for not being around. What time I had on the net was spent lurking! Yes, I do all the leg work when it comes to voting
(I always find it funny the way everbody has 'caligari attatchment no xxxxx and I have photobucket...It picks mine out the crowd don't it?

still in the planning phase of mine but got a pretty good idea of what I'm gonna do so it won't take that long fiddling in 3d space to get the right object model ...
will post some WIP pics soon and do most of the scene this weekend and next weekend for finishing off... |

OK, no way this is going to meet any deadline :D: but I have decided that these challenges actually are a strong motivating force to model. So I will be continuing this a long time after the final whistle has blown this month.
