Only 9 Votes so far? There is better responses at the "Zork" Forums! :rolleyes:
We have almost 1000 TS users now and they each have at least one finger to press that left mouse button just once...go on vote it's as easy as adding a Vertex! If your a weird Space Alien you can use your nose or other appendages... |

Thanks I finally won something!:) Money?, Upgrade?, Ambassador?, T-Shirt? ...the choice of the next topic in the Challenge and the chore to setting it up and maintaining it....WIPEEEE.
Thank you Jack and Prodigy for the kind words. The other entries were really good too and want to say it was a pleasure trying to beat you guys because you make me try harder!
I know exactly what the next one will be. I think this will bring in some fresh entries and possibly some new interest in our challenge.
I'll set this up tonight but to get started here it is. Whatever you think your "Dream Home" is. Exterior only Landscaping allowed. |

So far no one has started a Dream House WIP. Don't put off at least starting one. Everyone will start to think there is no interest and this Challenge will die.
I'm working like crazy on my latest work so that I can finish and start on this one. So my lack of WIP is for that reason only. Where are the rest of you Mules?:rolleyes:

I've got an idea, so I'll try and get my concept up either tomorrow or Wednesday.
I think you should go ahead and bump the challenge thread though to remind people to get their WIP threads started. ;) |

Dragneye, it would be great if you join the Challenge! Make it as simple or as complex as you want. I hope new users decide to jump in too.
New users hint: Drag a box primitive in, texture it and call it your dream home...see easy...;)

Dream House? Scream house! The whole subject of houses is somewhat touchy for me at the moment as we are halfway through the process of finding somewhere new to live :) . We finally confirmed our new address today - yay - and we can start actually moving all our carefully boxed possessions in a couple of weeks time.
Somewhat ironically, given that we live in the South Islands largest city we are only moving about 46 houses away in the same street which means we get to enjoy our river views!
I'm still trying to find time (between packing stuff for the move) to complete something for the Immersive invironments challenge. It'll be a while before I'm able to partake in any other challenges - though I'm thinking of making a 3d model of the house we're moving to at some stage. |

Steinie - TY for the encouraging words. This is a great topic, like many of the others in the past challenges, and the moment I read what the new one was, the artist just took over like a madman. Alas, I went away in between the last challenge/contest and had to quit (I hate that word) mid-stream. I just got back, and now, the 15th I head to Greece, so I won't be able to enter this one either. (pulls the Steinman close and whispers in his ear: "dat don't mean I ain't gonna try" ;) )
And... lol... simple never works for me. I have no choice but to make it complex :D It DOES say 'DREAM' house, don't it?
W!ZARD - I'm very happy to hear that your move is coming to a close soon. One day I intend to visit the dreamland you call home.
Umm, I mean the 'country', not bother you at your house :)
to all who haven't entered this or the other challenges... I agree with the others... "COME ON DOWN! We'd love to see your mind's eye at play!
PS: Anybody gonna be in Greece (or southern Italy) for the next month or so, I offer free native drink, free native food, free native No. 2 pencils and paper, free laughs, and a free ride (well, almost free) to a variety of NOT on the map ancient sites. And I mean it... just contact me :) |
