Well there were 16 votes the first time round in the limited time the poll was up, so hopefully there'll be a few more yet... there must be a few folks who have to re-vote at least. |

I thought the person who one the previous SMC didn't get to enter the next one because they chose it?? Or has that changed too. |

It's not a 'hard and fast' rule - it's just become a habit generally, but theuns wasn't aware of this when setting up his SMC and MMC subjects as he'd not been part of them until very recently - it's not in the 'standard rules' that we recycle from one challenge to the next, so many of the newcomers wouldn't be aware that this has become 'traditional'.
I don't think it's that big a deal myself, as long as we don't end up with one person endlessly winning over and over... |

Like Nez said... but I have also decided to do this in future and are doing so in the new MMC... Will still take part but just won't submit my entries for voting next time around ;)
We had an involved discussion about this in the September MMC thread ;)

I have no problem with past winner entering, for me it means i try to set my goals a bit higher...

Me neither, but perhaps there should be a restriction like "two-in-a-row-and-you're-out" so that the same person don't win multiple times in succession... at least that is what I would do for me personally...
I have no problem with past winner entering, for me it means i try to set my goals a bit higher...
