Not wanting to sound just stupid..but what is a climbing frame? I have a idea, but I am not sure it that is even right.

I think Americans call them jungle gyms, monkey bars and other names.

Basically anything that can be traversed by climbing on to it. That would probably include those fake 'rock climbing' walls I suppose?

oh, language divide! Never imagined it'd be called something else on the other side of the pond (tsk, and you claim you speak English! :) )

Usually found in playgrounds and some people have them in their gardens for their kids, the standard sort is a variety of interconnected frames, ladders, platforms, etc, for kids to climb up, over and through.

Here's a few examples (http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=climbing+frame&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2). Hope that all makes sense.

Kind of funny how this all transpired from Matches to Playground equipment. Reason I say so is because here in Sacramento, CA we have had a lot of vandalism where they have set several Playground structures on fire. Any comments WWOTW? ;)

I'm in England, I've never been to Sacramento and don't know anyone there, it wasn't me, I know nothing. (was that convincing enough?)

OK, all comments into the new 'Comments' thread now please, leaving this one just for entries. My bad for forgetting to start it but it's there now. Thanks.

Ah yes... England and the USA... two countries divided by the same language.

Pavement = a large paved area. The surface of a road

Pavement = a place for people to walk so they are not hit by cars.

Pants = a pair of trousers

Pants = Underclothes

Hopefully I can come up with something for this challenge.

Yep, I'm not going to be here to administer the end so I'm extending this by another week, partly in the hope that others will enter. It's a simple topic and could be done just out of primitives. Come on people - MODEL! :-)

Sorry guys, I've been away dealing with a family thing and forgot all about this. In the interest of fairness, resurrecting it and hopefully getting a few more entries, I'm calling the official deadline for this coming Sunday - 18 May.

Thanks to all those that have taken part so far (especailly James who has been extremely keen :) ) and I hope that many more of you will now take up your primitives and pop in an entry before the weekend.

No winners no losers.

It was a cartoon on my observation about contradictory terms Steinie.

Besides, we already have a method to "Take as long as you want."

It's called ...the WIP thread.

or, in the case of those who only post finished projects,

...the Image Gallery.

Ok, now I don't get the time frame here.

4 may + 1 week extension = 19 may and no sign of end?

Prodigys work is so good that I don't see any reason to enter this round - I can't top that. So I will wait for a subject more in line for me and then I pounce like a fox... ;)
