A 'trophy' of some sort has been mentioned on several occassions but never got any further than that. I would asume that most people think it's a little pointless (what are you gong to do, print it out and put it on your mantlepiece?). I think if you start introducing 'awards', etc, it starts taking the Speed Modelling Challenge away from it's informal and fluid setting and starts to make it more 'official' or rigid, thus removing a degree of it's fun nature and possibly stopping some from having a go.
Just one opinion in a sea of many. |

I think Graysho understand the idea..
Its only a fiew pixels to put on your signature.. not for print... What kind of freek can do that??? :confused:

The print part was a joke! I think you've missed my point slightly. i've probably not explained it very well - I was trying to say that 'awards' start to make it feel more official and reduces the fun aspect which is what it's all about. I'm not against the idea, I just think it's a little pointless and seems more of an ego massage than anything else. That's all. |

Yes, I think that would be the main problem with having a trophy in your signature, I like the idea but would it go to peoples heads........would you be judged on how many trophies you have...... |
