I don`t want to delete it from the layouts folder, i just want to delete it from the tabs at the top. So, how do i remove a layout?

Not sure that is possible as the UI reads the layout folder. However, why not copy it somewhere else on your PC should you need it again. Then it disappears from your UI.

Okay, have done so. I have simply created a folder in the layout folder called rejected, and have moved those layouts inside it. Now they are gone from my layouts bar. Thanks :)

Why not just open up the layout's library in the library stack and delete them from the right click pop-up menu?

Also then can be manually deleted by opening up the folder in windows explorer.

You can reload any of the libraries using the Library Browser.
