Okay, what's the secret of using WorkSpace in Vista?

I click one time in WorkSpace and it turns into a solid blue background with nothing else functional.

This is a bug with NVIDIA drivers. You can probably find more info by a search on "bloom" since enabling bloom avoids this problem with the drivers (its been discussed previously on the forums :) )

Also using anything from 174.xx and up should work - that was unreleased beta drivers from NVIDIA until today, when 175.16 drivers have just gone WHQL. Going to test those soon, but since 175.12 fixed the driver bug, I imagine 175.16 will too.

Yep, 175.16 works without the need to enable bloom. Prior to just last week, the last official released NVIDIA drivers were from back in Dec, so those who were not installing beta releases were stuck with this bug for quite some time.

Good to know its resolved in the released version again though :)

Thanks!

The latest drivers from 6 may also fixed some graphical glitches I was having when using the DX render options. Works brilliantly.

Yeah, the updated driver worked.

Funny, I thought I had updated everything. Evidently, there is a glitch in the Update driver in Vista as it stated I had the most recent driver, when in fact I did not.

Nothing beats heading to the manufacturer's website for drivers :)

Note that NVIDIA only released updates in the last week or so - prior to that, the updates were from Dec. Not sure how recently you checked. Anyway, I always update my graphics card drivers direct from the website.

Interested to hear how folks get along with these new ones!
