Hi

I am trying go view the videos that is included in the PDFManual for TS 7.51.

I double click on the wmv file and Windows Media player start.

However, the audio is horrible! Is something wrong with my computer or is the audio quality of these videos really poor?

I can play other audio files fine, played an MP3 just now without problem...

I have tried to reinstall the video files without any improvement. Now I am trying to download them again to see if that helps.

Any suggestions would however be welcome

Sadly, all off them.

The sound is a bit like if the video was recored by a robot or something. Perhaps a robot talking in a tin can... really disturbing.

As a technical notice, I run XP 64 and uses WMP to try to view these files.

My WMP version is 10.00.00.3998

Must be a codec or driver error at a guess. I have not experienced this...:o

Yep, you are correct splinters.

After trying to find WMP 11 for XP64 on Microsoft homepage I searched for it on Google (and of course found it direct) and then installed it.

Now it works as it should.:jumpy:

A bit strange that MS don't publish the WMP 11 under Windows update for XP64. I guess that they want us to forget this OS since it is their best - 64 bit (can adress more than 4 gb of ram) and no DRM evil as in Vista 64 (you can load unsigned drivers in XP 64)...

Norm's voice has often been mistaken for the rare Canadian short-haired Bull Frog, but I don't think it was ever classified as strange.

The sounds in my manual play fine, must be a codec.

You've apparently never heard him sing.

Err... that's slowing down. Seriously slowing down! I don't know about the Chipmunks, that'd make you sound more like James Earl Jones with a bad cold!

For the record, Norm's singing doesn't sound fine under any conditions. :-)

A friend of mine is building one and is just looking for a wheelchair motor to install in it.
