Hello,


i am looking everywhere in TS 7.51 and i have found the Lathe tool... ? ANyone knows ?

No lathe tool in workspace - though the old lathe tool is there in the Model side.

thanks for the answer.. disappointed.. is there antoher way of doing a curved extrusion ??

The sweep tool can be used. Lathe is just a pre-calculated series of sweeps.
You right-click on the object - select the face(s) you want to sweep and away you go.

If you calculate the size and angle, you can actually come up with many good things - this window was made with the sweep tool in Model space during a 15 min speed model challenge for Thursday nights.

well that is a shame to have abandonned such a precious tool.... don't really understand the point ???:confused:

and you can trust that if it IS abandoned, one of our clever people will MAKE one for workspace :D

either way, it will happen. Most likely just waiting to be ported over though.


you CAN always lathe in Model side and then switch back to Workspace to texture and do what ever else.
