Hello,

is it possible in TS 7.51 to merge mesh information of two different objects into one? The 'Encapsulate Object ...' functions only link the objects hierarchically. The only way I discovered was to go into the model viewer and use the boolean operation union for this and then go back again. But I'd rather use the bridge as little as possible.

Thanks

Da Dude

Booleans are indeed currently Model-side only. You can merge objects with Encapsulate, which is like the Glue functions from Model side (makes them act as one object, but doesnt actually "fuse" the geometry into one), but if you need to make two objects into one with geometry "fused", Model side booleans are the way to go for now.

HTH!
