Ok what would make my cpu all of a sudden not show the texture I have mapped onto a plane when solid display is selected? It was working fine then it just stopped working.

Dunno rjeff,

I just know if I work in any 3D program or Video Composition program for any length of time, I have to

1) Save often
2) Restart my computer ever so often

For some reason and I don't know why, neither of the two categories release (free up) memory for later use. After awhile, the computer slows down and things just start acting weird.

I have better graphics card and faster hard drives, it happens less frequently, but it still does happen.

I figure it's the nature of the beast and besides, restarting my computer gives me a chance to walk around and do other stuff.

Try it and see if the occasional restart helps - I haven't found any other solution around it.

Well James not sure if this is the correct thing to do, but it works..I switched my display from direct3d to openGl and that seems to have worked.

Well it works barley. I may have to unistall and reinstall TS to make it work right. I driver may have gotten corrupted somehow.
