Okay, made that silly witch and now I have problems :D

First I open up work space, the bridge is on auto and I save the witch to the Library so I'd have a compatible product for workspace side?

Now - I want to bone it.

But the figure doesn't move. I right click - mesh shows

I click of the Z axis and the figure moves with the widget.

I click on the Z axis and the figure doesn't move with the widget.

I try to bone the character and and the attach skin to bones never works.

So frustrated, I go to the modeler side and the witches hat is not visible in the modeler side (in which it was made)

The witches hat shows up on the work space side.

So I restart tS7.5 in the default mode.

Still same - wasted time - workspace is rather odd working in and everything is moved around - ugh

I can't even find the grid in workspace...

The help manual doesn't come up

blah blah , I'm going to take a nap

It shouldn't be this hard - there is no intuitive workings in work space...

Don't feel bad James, I had the same problem when I first tried to rig. The trick is to have the skeleton selected first then to click the attach skin to bone tool and click on the skin.

The missing piece to the puzzle is the Dynamic pose tool is the one you need to use to select skeletons and skeleton parts. Some times it helps to select the skeleton in the LE to make sure you have the whole skeleton selected when you go to skin it.

Once you figure it out, it's fairly easy. It's the figuring out part that's hard. ;)
