Question from Snap:

i have truespace 3 SE and it make good graphics but i dont know how to make a mlb file or a texture i look at all the program and i dont know how to add a texture

the mlb contatins jpg texture but i dont know how can u help?

I answer this here in public library becasue can not send images via private message and a pic = 1k-words.

Image shows important areas of trueSpace3.2 material library scenario.

I circle icon on bottom row of tools, indicating location of Material Library Icon. Once the Material Library is open, I circle "Add Material to Library" icon, which allows you to add the current material in Material Editor, into Material Library.

I highlight with black outline, "simple" button, which as you see pops out a menu, which allows you to create a "New" (empty) Material Library, or perhaps you wish to "Load" an existing library, "Save" the library or if is a brand new library, "Save As", which allows you to save new library and give it a "name" in process.

Second Image shows process for inserting texture map based material to library. It is a jpg image of a hand. The image is called "3Dhand", and you see it is named on a button. If you click, it opens up the dialog box to pic a texture from hard drive. I circle the "Add Material to Libray" icon again. Once you add the material to the library, don't forget to name new material or it would be automatically named "untitled" in the text area at bottom right of Material Library.

I believe you may purchase a PDF version of the trueSpace3.2 manual, on our website, but if I was to help further, there is a special for trueSpace4.3 on the website. It costs $19.95 and when you buy it, they give you $20 bucks in credit. Take the $20 bucks and buy the trueSpace3.2 manual. Then you have both trueSpace3.2 and trueSpace4.3, with manuals, for $19.95. They are both neat programs and worth this cost. Is what I would do if I was in your position.

Hope this is helpful Snap.
