Hi again,

When i startup the TS 6.6 demo it searches my harddisk for "caligari.tga", is there an option to disable this? does this only happen in the demo?

I don't think there is any way of stopping this. It is just ts6.6 searching for it's standard texture maps.

How does it cause a problem?

Its not causing a problem, but it just slows down how quickly TS finishes loading.

You can hit escape to stop tS from searching for textures.

You can also edit the texture paths (in the File -> Preferences menu) to include whatever path that file is in (it may be that the texture is not included in the demo, in which case you could create one with that name and point a texture path to it, or just use the Esc option :) )

HTH!

Youre only talking of a few seconds though in which you have this displayed:confused::confused:.?

I think what theedfx is saying is that the demo takes longer to load up because of the fact that it has to search the texture path for Caligari.tga (which is included in the demo). I don't think there is any 'fix' for this, you'll just have to deal with the load time (it's not that bad - it's even shorter once it's prefetched it)
