What you guys think ?

We have no VRay material librarys.

When everyone upload his own self made VRay material ( Glass, wood, Marmor, stones, chrome or whatever incl. Bumpmap if needed ) we can make a Big VRay Mat library.

Maybe too realistic Light Librarys for VRay.

this means sun-position on different times ( 12, 1, 2, 3 .... pm / am )

neontubes, bulp´s ( 40 watts, 60 watts, 100 watts etc. or just a light diode ...

and don´t forget my poor english. :)

It's a great idea! tS is meant for sharing, tS7 especially so, with anything from materials to layouts.

Please do save them, export and then upload here, it'd be great to have everything from materials to light settings and anything else you can think of.

I'll try to do the same, but it's always a question of when time permits :)

Thanks!

Tom

I am currently working on a V-Ray materials library which some people over on the Beta forum are already aware of. It will not use any texture or displacement maps but will be a collection of base reflectance materials covering metals, plastics, ceramics, transparent and translucent materials, matte surfaces and simple lighting materials.

Once it is completed I will try to post the link for it on here too - unfortunately I can't post any of the test images I made so far here as they are too large.

I can setup a website to handle a library of these if you like.. Would it be worth it? Users can upload their own via userid etc.. ??

Looks well...:)

I need a couple of Beta testers.. - If interested send me a Userid/pw to my PM (probably good if same userid as this forum?) and I'll give you access and some instructions.. And you might have suggestions too..

I might even add a user gallery, as suggested before..?
