(All the below applies to the player side of tS7)

How do I...

Encapsulate the post-process settings in a scene? I found the 'Scene Ground' in the DX Components/View library, and it's very convienient to drop that in the LE. But scenes in the player need the post-process settings saved so they appear as intended. How can I do that?

How do I...

Move bitmaps between libraries in the bitmap library? Is there a way to get two views of the bitmap library open at once, so I can drag-n-drop between them? And how do I differentiate (verbally) between the libraries-that-hold-libraries and libraries-that-hold-items?

How do I extract bitmaps from existing objects for re-use?

How do I re-use a DX texture without saving it to a library? How can I apply the texture to multiple shapes without a drag-n-drop from the library to each shape?

How do I...?

image files ..to put them in the new library..right click in a library choose "import image files" or "image folder" ..but once in the player side library they can't be used by any other program even when exported, including ts6.6 because they are turned into "RsImg" a very poor idea..one that should be changed

you cannot drag and drop between image libraries..even when they both can be accessed at the same time

you can save an image via a .mtl library on model side if you don't have the image in the library..
player image library cannot extract images ..except off of toolbar icons on the nodes in LE using "insert image" :(

not sure what you mean about post process settings..but I think you can save the scene ground settings as preferences in new library system..

See the sample pic. The "Player - Scene Ground" has been added to the scene from the DX library. I want to bring in the "Player - Post Process" panel also.

Okay, I gave that a try. Almost good enough.

The script records my interaction with with the object (Player - Post Process) in the context of the UI

(/Project/Windows Manager Space/Frame Window/Split Docking Place/Frame Window/Split Docking Place/Frame Window, 2/Border Docking Place/Frame Window, 2/)

If I change the layout, the script fails.

Also, although it is easy enough to set up a 'Reset all PP' script object, 'Bloom Off', 'Bloom On' etc., making arbitrary settings is more of a problem. The idea of recording ten minutes of fiddling with the parameters and editing it down to the ten lines I need doesn't appeal to me. Plugging the proper parameters into a skeleton script would be okay, if I could get the numbers. :(

go to ..System/ Project/ Windows Manager Space/ Frame Window ..in there you will find a "Player Post process" node ..you can insert it to the DX/ view library from there ..then you can try encapsulating it in your scene
