I am trying to save a configuration for the context sensitive toolbar in the model window... with no luck.

In the default tS7 Model config, you can set the display to Wire, Transparent, Transparent Outline, etc... for ALL objects in the scene.

But sometimes, I like to be able to draw one object as Solid and leave the scene as Wire. To do so, I added in the context sensitive toolbar : the Draw Object as Wire/Transparent_outline/Solid_Outline, etc... icons, found using the Icon Finder tool. This way, I can select an object, right-clic on it like if I wanted to do some poly edit, and set him as solid while all the rest of the scene is in wireframe.

But if I close tS7 and re-run it, that config is lost. I tried to save it in the config library (old style), the layout library, even use the save state button... no way.

Any ideas ?

Emmanuel..right click the sphere[when it turns from blue to yellow] that follows the selectionbox..the individual object draw tools are already there..no need to make another set..:cool:

Thanks for the tip Stan!

But I removed the Control Box, so that sphere is not available... Is it impossible to customize the old toolbars ?

ts7 IS NOT fully customizable..despite the claim..even adding them to the edit toolbar they vanish after each session..{that would work in ts6.6..}
my only suggestion is to turn the selectionbox on when you want those icons..then back off..:(
