I finally found a way to get drivers that my wee bitty Dimension won't regurgitate like some fermented bacteria infested left over spaghetti. Thing is, it took a little bit of hiking around the internet, but i did it nonetheless - and now it looks like Truespace7 is on it's way as a productive tool here in Nashville.

Ok. Fisrt thing. I installed the beta version of IE7. How? Try this: http://www.find.pcworld.com/51922 . Why? Because all of my other browsers are laden with protective toolbars which won't let me access where I needed to

download the new drivers with. From there I went to Guru of 3D (Gooogle for the addy, please) - of course, they want you to be registered so do so to acquire your drivers. See, here's where I was losing it in oh so many ways. Sometimes I would get new drivers which would cause rejections, then it looked like Guru of 3D found my browsers too protective to give me anything. They recommended that I shut off my firewall at first, but I said, "Naaaahh, I'll figure out something else!" IE7 Beta did a nice job. I grabbed the Nforce 84.6 drivers, downloaded using the author mirror, and finally....FINALLY, got a driver that this old dimension 4550 with the 2.53 processor and gforce mx440 graphic stuff would give a satisfactory burp to. Yay! :D
